MEDININAGAR – As the New Year 2025 approaches, residents of Palamu are embracing festivities with enthusiasm, enjoying activities like boating and picnics.

Many families gathered at Son River near Deori and Dangwar villages to bid farewell to 2024. Devotees bathed in the river and offered prayers at nearby temples, seeking blessings for a prosperous year ahead. Children, youth, and elders alike displayed high spirits, making plans to create lasting memories on the first day of the new year.

IAS and Hussainabad SDO Krishnakant Kanwaria emphasized starting the New Year with decency and vigilance. The administration has appealed for peaceful celebrations across the region.
