MEDININAGAR – The Roman Catholic Diocese inaugurated its Diamond Jubilee celebrations on Sunday, marking 75 years of faith and service. The event began with a special mass and prayers at Shanti Ki Maharani Church on Station Road.

Religious Ceremonies and Messages of Hope

The celebrations started with Bishop Theodore Mascarenhas leading the missa mass in accordance with religious rites. Addressing the Christian community, Bishop Mascarenhas encouraged believers to strengthen their faith and follow the path of Christ. He emphasized hope and service as central tenets of faith, urging everyone to embody Christ’s teachings of love, brotherhood, and charity.

“Jesus Christ endured immense suffering to save humanity from sin and gave us the message of a new life. Let us embrace his teachings in our daily lives,” Bishop Mascarenhas shared during his sermon.

Procession and Cultural Programs

Following the mass, a grand faith procession, coordinated by Jubilee Year Coordinator Father Anthony Fernandes, began at Shanti Ki Maharani Church.
