JAMSHEDPUR – The Tusu Mela Committee held a planning meeting at Khariya Colony ground under the chairmanship of Payragudi village head Basanti Prasad Singh.
The committee finalized arrangements for the January 20 festival. They announced attractive prizes for the Tusu competition participants.
Prize Structure
The organizers have set substantial rewards for winners. “First prize winners will receive Rs 31,000 and a sheep,” announced Singh.
Moreover, second and third place winners will get Rs 25,000 and Rs 15,000 respectively. These prizes aim to encourage participation.
Cultural Program
Renowned Jhumur artist Santosh Mahto from Seraikela will perform. The event will also feature orchestra performances.
Furthermore, village leaders including Deputy Mukhiya Lalmohan Rajak participated in the planning. They focused on making the festival grand.
