JAMSHEDPUR – The 22nd Jharkhand State Ball Badminton Championship began at Telco Nepal Building Ground with fierce competition.

Tata Motors Workers Union officials inaugurated the event. International player Birendra Mishra attended the ceremony.

“The championship showcases top state talent,” remarked organizing secretary K Rama Krishna.

Men’s Category Highlights

Saraikela and West Singhbhum played an intense match. The final score stood at 2-1 in Saraikela’s favor.

Meanwhile, Giridih edged past Jamtara in three sets. East Singhbhum defeated Giridih in another thriller.

Women’s Category Results

Dhanbad dominated Giridih in straight sets. West Singhbhum overcame Jamtara in three sets.

Moreover, Saraikela outplayed East Singhbhum. Both sets witnessed close finishes.

Furthermore, state representatives will be selected. The winners advance to national championship.
