RANCHI – BJP State President Babulal Marandi revealed major irregularities in the implementation of Jharkhand’s women-focused financial assistance program.

The scheme faces significant implementation challenges across Jharkhand. Moreover, several districts report similar issues.

"The government must investigate these discrepancies immediately," stated a social welfare expert.

### Payment Disbursement Issues

Only 37% of applicants received benefits in one village. Meanwhile, similar patterns emerge in other regions.

Furthermore, the scheme launched in 2023 aimed to help poor women. However, delayed payments have hindered its effectiveness.

"Many deserving families struggle due to these delays," remarked a local activist.

### Historical Context

The program initially targeted 500,000 beneficiaries statewide. Additionally, it promised regular financial support.

Moreover, each beneficiary should receive Rs. 2,000 monthly. Besides, the scheme prioritizes rural women.

### Administrative Challenges

Several technical glitches plague the payment system. In addition, verification processes need streamlining.

On the other hand, district officials promise quick resolution. Meanwhile, a review committee will assess implementation gaps.
