Multiple Trains Cancelled, Diverted as SER Conducts Non-interlocking Work in Adra Division

JAMSHEDPUR – Multiple trains through Tatanagar face cancellations and diversions as South Eastern Railway undertakes critical maintenance work.
The non-interlocking work begins in Adra division. It will continue till December 5.
Meanwhile, several popular trains face service disruptions. The Tatanagar-Hatia Express stands cancelled from December 1.
Moreover, the cancellation affects both up and down services. The suspension continues till December 5.
Similarly, the Kharagpur-Ranchi MEMU stops operations. The service remains cancelled during this period.
Furthermore, the Kharagpur-Hatia Express sees partial cancellation. The train terminates at Adra station.
The prestigious Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat takes an alternate path. It will run via Muri-Gunda Bihar-Chandil route.
Additionally, this diversion occurs on three specific dates. These are December 1, 4, and 5.
The Ranchi-Howrah Express also changes its route. However, this applies only on December 1.
On the other hand, Anand Vihar Terminal-Puri Express takes a detour. It travels via Gomo-Anara-Purulia-Chandil route.
The Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Tejas Rajdhani faces timing changes. It departs one hour late on December 5.
"These temporary changes ensure infrastructure improvement," states a railway official.
Besides, the work aims to enhance track safety. Regular services will resume after completion.
Moreover, this marks a major maintenance project. It affects multiple premium trains.
