SERAIKELA – On Constitution Day, Deputy Commissioner Ravi Shankar Shukla administered an oath of allegiance to the Constitution in a ceremony held at the District Collectorate auditorium. Officials and employees pledged to uphold constitutional rights and perform their duties with honesty.

The pledge reiterated India’s commitment to a sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic republic. Participants resolved to promote justice, equality, liberty, and fraternity while safeguarding national unity and individual dignity.

Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Commissioner extended greetings on the occasion and urged everyone to embrace constitutional values in their daily lives. He emphasized the significance of understanding and protecting these principles.

The event saw the participation of senior officials, including Deputy Development Commissioner Prabhat Kumar Bardiyar, District Transport Officer Girja Shankar Mahto, Deputy Election Officer Surendra Oraon, District Treasury Officer Aparna Singh, and District Education Officer Sanjay Gupta.

The ceremony highlighted the importance of Constitution Day in fostering accountability and dedication among public servants, ensuring the effective implementation of constitutional values.
