Rs 88.84 Crore Boost for Sahebganj District as CM Launches 34 Projects

Rajmahal’s growth trajectory takes flight with Soren’s bold initiatives, promising a brighter future for locals and tourists alike.

SAHEBAGANJ – Chief Minister Hemant Soren unveiled an ambitious development agenda for Rajmahal in Sahebganj district, marking a watershed moment for the region’s progress.

The Chief Minister’s visit was punctuated by the launch of 34 development schemes, signaling a new era of growth for the area.

Soren kickstarted three projects and set the stage for 31 more, injecting a whopping Rs 88.84 crore into the local economy.

In a move to uplift the community, assets valued at Rs 38.80 crore were distributed among 10,141 beneficiaries during the event.

The Chief Minister introduced fresh welfare initiatives targeting women, with plans for dedicated application camps across Jharkhand.

"These projects aren’t just brick and mortar; they’re the building blocks of our people’s future," remarked Soren, addressing the gathered crowd.

Recognizing Rajmahal’s unique blend of history, faith, and natural beauty, Soren outlined strategies to tackle pressing issues like river erosion and transportation woes.

The proposed airstrip and ropeway development aim to transform Rajmahal into a tourism hotspot, leveraging its rich cultural heritage.

Local resident Meena Devi expressed her optimism, saying, "With these new schemes, I see a brighter future for my children and our community."

The ceremony saw the attendance of key political figures, including Rajmahal MP Vijay Kumar Hansda and MLA Anant Ojha, underscoring the initiatives’ significance.
