JD(U)’s Saryu Roy May Secure a Decisive Victory Over Banna Gupta of Congress

JAMSHEDPUR – JD(U) candidate Saryu Roy is about to achieve a commanding victory in the Jamshedpur West Assembly constituency, over his closest rival, Banna Gupta of the Indian National Congress, by a margin of over 32,000 votes.

Roy, a prominent political figure, till now has secured 73,576 votes in total, while Gupta received 41,080 votes, settling for second place. Independent candidates Shambhu Nath Choudhary (1,472 votes), Rashid Hussain from AIMIM (1,274 votes), and others remained far behind. Interestingly, the NOTA option was chosen by 1,059 voters, reflecting some level of dissatisfaction among the electorate.
