JAMSHEDPUR – The electoral battle in Potka Assembly constituency remains intense as BJP’s Meera Munda takes a slender lead of 1,595 votes over JMM’s incumbent MLA Sanjeev Sardar after ten rounds of counting.
Meera Munda has amassed 52,410 votes so far, while Sanjeev Sardar has garnered 50,815 votes. Bhagirathi Hansda of JLKPM trails significantly in third position with 3,572 votes, followed by other candidates with minimal tallies.
A detailed breakdown of the vote count reveals the fierce competition between BJP and JMM, with independent candidates and smaller parties collectively securing a marginal share. The NOTA (None of the Above) option also registered 978 votes, indicating voter discontent among some participants.
