JAMSHEDPUR – In a heated contest for the Jugsalai Assembly seat, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) candidate Mangal Kalindi has established a significant lead with 41,833 votes. His nearest competitor, Vinod Swansi of JLKPM, trails with 24,278 votes, while BJP-AJSU alliance candidate Ramchandra Sahis holds third place with 23,045 votes.
Several independent and smaller party candidates, including former minister Dulal Bhuiyan’s son Biplav Bhuiyan, struggled to make a mark. Biplav garnered 1,217 votes, while BJP rebel Bimal Baitha managed 1,123 votes.
