JAMSHEDPUR – Hill Top School in Telco celebrated its 42nd Annual Sports Meet on Saturday at Sumant Moolgaokar Stadium with great enthusiasm.
The event started with Dhananjay Mishra, from Tata Steel UISL, hoisting the flag and addressing the gathering. He highlighted the importance of sports as a vital aspect of life. "Sports are not just for entertainment but also ensure good health and mental agility," he remarked.
Meanwhile, students from classes 3 and 4 showcased an engaging drill promoting road safety under the theme "Safety First." The drill aimed to spread awareness about adopting traffic rules for personal and public safety.
Principal Uma Tiwari lauded the efforts of the students and staff, mentioning the oath administered by School President Ram Rachit Dubey, emphasizing discipline and team spirit. She added, “Sports nurture both physical fitness and critical thinking.”
Teachers Satyajit Mahanta, Rahul Thakur, and other staff members contributed to the event’s success. The day’s activities were a blend of athleticism, teamwork, and learning.
