Jharkhand Assembly Elections: Exit Polls Show Mixed Predictions

RANCHI – Voting for all 81 assembly seats in Jharkhand has concluded, and exit polls have presented diverse predictions regarding the outcome. While many channels suggest the BJP-led NDA might retain power, others forecast a comeback for the JMM-Congress India alliance.

According to Axis My India, the JMM-Congress India alliance is projected to secure 53 seats, while the BJP-led NDA may win 25 seats, with three seats going to others. Conversely, Chanakya Strategy predicts a stronger performance for the NDA with 45-50 seats and 35-38 seats for the India alliance.

Matric’s survey estimates 42-47 seats for NDA, 25-30 for the India alliance, and 1-4 for others. Times Now’s poll suggests a similar trend, with the NDA expected to win 40-44 seats and the India alliance 30-40 seats. The C-Voter survey for Aaj Tak placed 34 seats for NDA, 26 for the India alliance, and one for others, with 20 seats too close to call.

Exit polls also highlighted the significant impact of smaller parties like Jayaram Mahto’s JLKMS, which has reportedly caused losses for both major coalitions.

Election results are scheduled to be announced on November 23, with the final tally set to reveal Jharkhand’s political future.
