RANCHI – Jharkhand’s second phase assembly elections witnessed exceptional voter turnout across 38 constituencies with groundbreaking inclusive measures.
The Election Commission implemented innovative strategies to enhance participation. Their initiatives included specialized booths and comprehensive facilities.
Moreover, differently-abled officials managed 22 polling stations. Meanwhile, young personnel operated 28 booths across constituencies.
"These arrangements have made democracy truly inclusive," noted a community observer.
In addition, audio announcements encouraged voter participation. Furthermore, election-themed songs created a celebratory environment.
The Snehpur Leprosy Ashram booth in Mihijam made electoral history. Besides, it offered wheelchairs and dedicated volunteer assistance.
However, the cultural integration received special recognition. The themed stations celebrated Jharkhand’s rich heritage.
Meanwhile, women officials led 239 stations in female-majority areas. On the other hand, eco-friendly designs adorned 48 booths.
