JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel Foundation’s Samvaad Conclave celebrates indigenous culinary heritage while fostering entrepreneurship among tribal communities.

The Asur tribe sisters presented their signature Duru Kanda dish.

Moreover, these sisters plan to open "AAJI GHOTO ORA" canteen in Netarhat.

Meanwhile, Oraon tribe’s Amrita Ekka runs a successful food stall serving traditional dishes.

Furthermore, she has expanded into pickle-making using local ingredients like red ants.

On the other hand, Santhali tribe’s Chhaya Singh showcased the traditional Charpa Pithha.

The Oraon community demonstrated their unique flower-based cuisine.

In addition, Sujata Kirkitta presented distinctive dishes like Chakor Jhor and Shanai Fool Chutney.

Besides, the event highlighted the nutritious Tiki Daka rice and Chauli Chaa.

The conclave provided workshops and skill development opportunities for tribal women.

A local participant noted that the event successfully bridges tradition with economic sustainability.
