JAMSHEDPUR – A 15-year-old girl from Bhilai Pahadi in Jamshedpur’s MGM police station area reportedly died by suicide on Sunday morning. The girl, a class 8 student at Netaji Subhas Public School, was discovered in her room after family members broke the door upon finding it locked.

According to the girl’s family, she had been struggling with depression since the recent Durga Puja festivities. After breakfast on Sunday morning, she went to her room. When her family noticed her absence, they forced open the door and rushed her to Tata Main Hospital (TMH), where doctors declared her dead on arrival.

On Monday, the police conducted an autopsy before handing over the body to her family. The incident has raised concerns about the mental health of young students, as the family believes her struggle with depression may have led to this tragic outcome.
