MEDININAGAR – Deputy Commissioner Shashiranjan has mandated complete distribution of voter information slips within 48 hours across Palamu district.

The district administration is intensifying preparations for the upcoming assembly elections.

Deputy Commissioner Shashiranjan expressed serious concern about the slow pace of voter slip distribution.

"No negligence will be tolerated in election-related duties," warned the Deputy Commissioner.

District Officials Take Stock

The comprehensive review meeting saw participation from electoral officers of all five assembly constituencies.

Assistant Electoral Registration Officers and Block Level Officers (BLOs) presented their progress reports.

The DC emphasized strict verification of voter identities during slip distribution.

Enhancing Voter Participation

The administration has launched various voter awareness initiatives to boost turnout.

Officials recommended partnering with Booth Awareness Groups (BAGs) for better outreach.

BLOs received clear instructions about maintaining accurate records of deceased or relocated voters.
