JAMSHEDPUR – A young man died instantly after being hit by a trailer near the bus stand in Sitaramdera on Tuesday evening.

The victim’s head was caught under the rear wheels of the trailer, leading to immediate death at the scene.

Following the accident, locals apprehended the driver and assaulted him before informing the police.

Sitaramdera police arrived on the spot, seized the trailer, and took the body to the MGM Hospital morgue.

Due to the severe crushing of the victim’s head, identification has not yet been possible.
