JAMSHEDPUR – Local police demonstrate efficiency in solving a recent shooting case near Kendu Kocha.
The Jamshedpur police have swiftly resolved a shooting incident that occurred on Wednesday.
Moreover, City SP Kumar Shivashish led the investigation, cracking the case within 24 hours.
Two suspects, Sonu Sinha and Karamdev Sharma, have been arrested in connection with the crime.
"We’ve recovered a pistol, live cartridges, and shells from the accused," Shivashish stated during a press briefing.
Furthermore, both suspects are residents of Shankosai area in Jamshedpur.
The victim, identified as Birsa Khalkho, was shot during an altercation by the Swarnarekha River.
Interestingly, the shooting stemmed from a dispute over money while the group was consuming drugs.
"Sonu Sinha, in a fit of rage, pulled out a pistol and fired at Birsa," explained a police official.
Meanwhile, further investigation revealed Karamdev Sharma’s involvement in providing the weapon.
The police’s quick action led to the prompt arrest of both suspects.
On the other hand, the efficient resolution of this case has earned praise from local residents.
"This swift action sends a strong message to criminals," remarked a community leader.
