Jharkhand Simplifies Caste Certificate Process in Landmark Move

Dr. Ajoy Kumar Praises Decision to Issue Certificates Based on Local Verification

Key Points:

• Caste certificates now issued through local investigation in Jharkhand

• Move benefits millions, especially in urban areas lacking land documents

• Decision eases process for job seekers and students from marginalized groups

JAMSHEDPUR – A significant policy change in Jharkhand aims to streamline the issuance of caste certificates.

The Jharkhand government has introduced a landmark decision on caste certificate issuance.

Moreover, former MP Dr. Ajoy Kumar has praised this move as a milestone for the state.

The new policy allows caste certificates to be issued based on local verification through zonal offices.

"This decision will benefit millions across Jharkhand," Dr. Kumar emphasized in a statement.

Furthermore, the change addresses a long-standing issue, particularly in urban areas.

Previously, many SC, ST, and backward community members struggled to obtain certificates due to lack of land documents.

"The Chief Minister has responded positively to our concerns," Dr. Kumar noted.

In addition, this simplification is expected to aid youth applying for jobs and students seeking admissions.

Interestingly, Dr. Kumar had personally raised this issue with Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

"The CM assured us a solution would be found, and he has delivered," the Congress leader remarked.

On the other hand, the decision brings relief to marginalized communities who faced bureaucratic hurdles.

The new process enhances ease of access to important documents for these groups.

Meanwhile, government officials are preparing to implement the new verification system efficiently.

"This public-friendly decision will have far-reaching impacts," a local administrator commented.

As the policy rolls out, it’s expected to significantly reduce paperwork and expedite the certification process.
