JAMSHEDPUR – A prominent Sikh intellectual from Jamshedpur has voiced concern over religious conversions in Punjab, calling for urgent action.

Harvinder Singh Jamshedpuri labeled the issue a matter of grave concern.

He announced plans for a state-level seminar in Jharkhand to address the problem.

Jamshedpuri consulted with Sardar Bhagwan Singh, head of the Central Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee.

The leader emphasized the need for awareness among Sikhs in Jharkhand.

Moreover, Jamshedpuri recently viewed a documentary on conversions in Delhi.

He expressed frustration at what he termed a conspiracy to create a "Converted Punjab."

The Sikh leader suggested some individuals are converting due to greed and coercion.

Furthermore, Jamshedpuri stressed the importance of educating Sikhs on this matter.

He called on religious organizations to take immediate action against rising conversions.

The issue, according to Jamshedpuri, is not confined to Punjab alone.

He views it as a nationwide problem requiring urgent attention.

A local Sikh community member stated, "This seminar could be a crucial step in addressing our concerns."

The planned seminar aims to explore both causes and potential solutions.

It reflects broader concerns about preserving Sikh identity and community integrity.

The announcement has sparked discussions among Sikh communities in Jharkhand and beyond.
