JAMSHEDPUR – The Sakchi Gurudwara Managing Committee finalizes plans for a grand Nagar Kirtan to celebrate Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s 555th Prakash Parv on November 15.

Committee members met on Sunday to discuss preparations for the upcoming religious procession.

Nishan Singh, head of the Gurudwara, announced plans for a spectacular fireworks display to welcome Palki Sahib.

Moreover, he urged the entire Sikh community in Jamshedpur to participate in this memorable event.

Sukhwinder Singh Nikku revealed that a grand flower shower will conclude the Nagar Kirtan at Sakchi Gurudwara.

Meanwhile, Balbir Singh, Surjit Singh Chhite, and Trilochan Singh Tochi offered suggestions for langar arrangements.

The Naujavan Sabha youth group will be responsible for managing the Jode Ghar (shoe service) during the celebrations.

Furthermore, Nishan Singh noted that langar service will be available only until 3 PM on the day of the procession.

This limitation is due to volunteers and committee members joining the Nagar Kirtan after that time.

Key members attending the meeting included Jitender Pal Kaur and Gurmeet Kaur, among other committee officials.

Secretary Surjit Singh Chhite concluded the meeting with a vote of thanks, expressing anticipation for the event.

The committee’s meticulous planning aims to create an unforgettable celebration for the community.

This grand event highlights the significance of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings in the Sikh faith.

The Sakchi Gurudwara’s efforts reflect the community’s devotion and enthusiasm for the upcoming Prakash Parv.
