JAMSHEDPUR – The Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Jamshedpur chapter commemorated Durga Vahini’s foundation day with a special ceremony at Mahalaxmi Temple.

The event, coinciding with Durga Ashtami, began with Vedic chants and Durga Chalisa recitation.

Attendees participated in the traditional weapon worship ritual, a significant aspect of Sanatan culture.

The ceremony included the honoring of members with saffron clothing, symbolizing their commitment to the organization.

Aruna Didi, the provincial co-coordinator of Durga Vahini, addressed the gathering on pressing issues.

She highlighted the need to protect Hindu women from love jihad and religious conversions.

The leader emphasized the importance of establishing small cultural and service centers in communities.

These centers aim to empower women in bustee areas through various initiatives.

Durga Vahini’s Role
