JAMSHEDPUR – At the Khelo Jharkhand state-level competition held in Ranchi, athletes from East Singhbhum made their district proud by winning eight medals across various sports.
Divya Soy clinched the gold, while Purnima Murmu and Ruban Mahato took home silver medals.
Bronze medalists included Prachi Mahato, Mahima Hembrom, Sumitra Hembrom, and Suraj Soren.
The team was led by head coach Gokulanand Mishra, with support from assistant coach Vijay Soy and manager Vivekanand Pramanik.
Rajkumar Singh, president of the East Singhbhum Wushu Association, congratulated the medalists for their outstanding performance, encouraging them to continue excelling in future competitions.
The Khelo Jharkhand event showcased top talents from across the state, further promoting sports and athletics in the region.
