JAMSHEDPUR – A laborer tragically ended his life on Sunday evening following a domestic dispute in the Ulidih police station area.

The deceased, identified as Ravi Kunkal, was a resident of Adarsh Nagar.

Police reports indicate that Kunkal took the extreme step after an argument with his wife.

The incident occurred while his wife had stepped out to purchase medicine.

Upon her return, she discovered her husband hanging from a saree in their rented home.

Neighbors quickly gathered at the scene after hearing the wife’s distressed cries.

Meanwhile, local authorities were promptly alerted and arrived shortly after.

Emergency services rushed Kunkal to MGM Hospital, where doctors declared him deceased.

On Monday, officials sent the body for post-mortem examination.

Sunny Kunkal, the deceased’s brother, provided details about the marital disagreement.

He mentioned that the couple had an argument before the wife left to buy medicine.

The deceased worked as a tile laborer and is survived by his wife and three children.

Police are conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Authorities will hand over Kunkal’s body to the family following the post-mortem.

The tragic event has cast a somber mood over the Adarsh Nagar community.
