Ex-Servicemen Council Hails IAF’s Global Standing, Peaceful Approach

JAMSHEDPUR – The All India Ex-Servicemen Service Council commemorated the 92nd Indian Air Force Day, highlighting the IAF’s prowess and commitment to peace.

The celebration took place at the Golmuri War Memorial in Jamshedpur.

Moreover, 35 retired servicemen from all three armed forces attended the event.

Vinay Yadav, the district president, praised the IAF’s strength and global influence.

Furthermore, he emphasized India’s dedication to promoting peace alongside power.

The gathering included veterans from operations dating back to 1962.

In addition, participants shared experiences from conflicts like Kargil and Operation Parakram.

The ceremony commenced with floral tributes to Bharat Mata’s portrait.

Meanwhile, Sukhvinder Singh presented the organization’s anthem, setting a patriotic mood.

Rajiv Kumar Singh introduced guests and new members to the assembly.

On the other hand, Kundan Kumar Singh discussed the IAF’s history and organizational structure.

A cake-cutting ceremony followed, with members exchanging well-wishes.

HP Bharti, a retired Air Force officer, shared personal anecdotes from his service days.

"Our Air Force’s growing capabilities fill us with pride," remarked an attending veteran.

Jasbir Singh, a mentor, stressed the importance of every ex-serviceman to the organization.

Additionally, he highlighted the council’s role in supporting families during difficult times.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Praveen Kumar Pandey.
