JAMSHEDPUR – Local business leaders met with the city’s top police official to address mounting traffic concerns, particularly congestion around Mango Bridge.
The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) representatives convened with Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishor Kaushal on Thursday.
They voiced their worries about the escalating traffic problems in Jamshedpur.
The delegation emphasized the severe congestion at Mango Bridge as a primary concern.
SSP Kaushal attentively listened to their grievances during the meeting.
He assured the SCCI members that the administration would take prompt action to alleviate the situation.
The police chief promised to implement necessary measures for improved traffic management.
Moreover, the SCCI delegation offered their full cooperation in streamlining the city’s traffic system.
They expressed gratitude to SSP Kaushal for his attention to the matter.
The business leaders remained hopeful about concrete actions benefiting Jamshedpur’s residents.
In addition, the SCCI delegation included several prominent members of the local business community.
President Vijay Anand Moonka led the group in presenting their concerns.
Other delegates included Vice President Rajiv Agarwal and Secretary Anshul Ringasia.
Besides, Abhishek Agarwal Goldy, Vinod Sharma, and Suresh Sharma Lippu were also present.
A local resident commented, "We’re glad the SCCI is addressing this issue. The traffic situation, especially around Mango Bridge, has become unbearable."
