RANCHI – Chief Minister Hemant Soren has called for a thorough investigation into the deaths of several aspirants during the excise constable recruitment physical test in Jharkhand.

Soren expressed deep concern over the tragic incidents.

He questioned the notion that Jharkhand youth lack the fitness to run 10 km.

The Chief Minister has written to Union Health Minister JP Nadda seeking assistance.

"We want to uncover the real truth behind these deaths," Soren emphasized.

Meanwhile, Soren addressed a function in Ranchi to distribute appointment letters.

He congratulated 527 candidates who succeeded in various competitive examinations.

The CM urged new appointees to consider their roles as a social responsibility.

"You are an integral part of the government," Soren reminded the successful candidates.

Furthermore, he highlighted the challenges faced in cadre division after Jharkhand’s formation.

Many departments operated under temporary systems for years due to incomplete cadre division.

However, Soren’s government has expedited the process of forming appointment rules.

The Chief Minister also praised the recent Jharkhand Public Service Commission examination.

"It was completed in record time without controversy," he stated proudly.

Moreover, Soren mentioned employment opportunities created in the non-government sector.

He suggested introducing rewards for excellent work to boost morale among government employees.

On the other hand, the CM addressed the longstanding issue of vacant positions.

His government conducted a review of departmental operations post-Covid pandemic.

They discovered a large number of vacancies across various departments.

Soren’s administration has since been working to fill these positions systematically.

The Chief Minister remains committed to fair and transparent recruitment processes.

His aim is to provide opportunities for underprivileged youths to succeed through hard work.
