JAMSHEDPUR – Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) activists took to the streets, protesting alleged malpractices in the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission’s Combined Graduate Level exam.
Hundreds of BJYM workers marched from the BJP office to Jubilee Park roundabout.
The protest was led by BJYM Jamshedpur Metropolitan President Nitish Kumar.
Demonstrators burned an effigy of Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
They raised slogans against the Hemant government, expressing anger over exam irregularities.
Protesters accused the government of deliberately shutting down internet services statewide.
They claimed this action facilitated cheating in the JSSC exam.
BJP Jamshedpur Metropolitan President Sudhanshu Ojha criticized the government’s handling of the exam.
He warned of intensified protests if a CBI investigation is not ordered promptly.
BJYM District President Nitish Kumar alleged that outside candidates received answer sheets in advance.
He claimed that sealed question papers were found opened at several exam centers.
Kumar argued that internet services are not shut down for UPSC or JPSC exams.
However, the government chose to do so for the Combined Graduate Level exam.
The BJYM leader demanded accountability from the government for this perceived fraud.
Former BJYM district president Dinesh Kumar was also present at the protest.
Other notable attendees included Dr. Rajeev, Dharmendra Prasad, and Pawan Singh.
The protesters vowed to continue their agitation until their demands are met.
