JAMSHEDPUR – Shatabdi Majumdar, a 2020 batch officer, has assumed the role of Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) in Dhalbhum, succeeding Parul Singh.
The official handover took place on Sunday.
Parul Singh welcomed her successor with a bouquet of flowers.
In return, Majumdar presented Singh with a floral arrangement, extending her best wishes.
Majumdar, having previously served as PDI in Jamshedpur, is familiar with the city.
She emphasized that her top priority would be improving the law and order situation.
Moreover, Majumdar stressed the importance of public cooperation in achieving this goal.
The new SDO pledged to address the issues faced by Jamshedpur residents.
She also committed to following government directives in her role.
Meanwhile, outgoing SDO Parul Singh reflected on her six-month tenure positively.
