JAMSHEDPUR – Thakur Anukulchandra’s 137th birth anniversary will be celebrated with great enthusiasm on Sunday, September 15, 2024, in Jamshedpur’s New Kashidih Bagan Area.
The temple committee announced the details of the celebration on Friday, emphasizing that preparations are in full swing to accommodate the thousands of devotees expected to attend from across East Singhbhum and other states.
Vinod Sahu, a representative of the temple committee, stated, "As every year, this year too, we will celebrate the 137th birth anniversary of our beloved Thakur Anukulchandra with devotion and grandeur."
The one-day event will begin early in the morning with devotees arriving at the Kashidih temple from distant places.
The celebrations will include a series of spiritual activities, starting with a morning procession at 4:00 AM, followed by prayers.
At 11:00 AM, a religious assembly will take place, where speakers like Rajshekhar Singh from Deoghar, Mavendra Devnath from Tripura, and Amitabh Nayak from Odisha will shed light on the life and teachings of Thakur Anukulchandra.
A maternal conference is scheduled for 1:00 PM, followed by a mass prasad distribution (Anand Bazaar) for thousands of devotees.
Additionally, hundreds of followers are expected to receive initiation (Diksha) throughout the day.
"The atmosphere will be filled with spiritual fervor as devotees come together to honor the teachings and legacy of Thakur Anukulchandra," added Sahu.
