Police to Host Public Grievance Redressal Event in Dumka

15 locations across Santhal Pargana to address citizen complaints

DUMKA – Dumka Police is set to organize a state-level public grievance redressal program on Tuesday, September 10, to address citizen complaints swiftly.

The event will take place at 15 different locations throughout the Santhal Pargana region. Police and administrative officials will be present to handle both written and verbal grievances from the public.

Sanjeev Kumar, Deputy Inspector General of Police for Santhal Pargana, emphasized the program’s goal. "We aim to resolve public complaints promptly across all 15 venues," he stated.

Citizens can approach block offices, police stations, and outposts to register their complaints. Officials will work to address these issues efficiently during the event.

In Dumka, the Indoor Stadium will serve as a central location. Residents from Nagar, Mufassil, Gopikandar, Kathikund, Masanjor, and Digdhi OP areas can present their grievances there.

For Masalia and Tongra police station areas, complaints can be filed at Dalahi Panchayat Bhawan in Masalia. Jarmundi Dak Bungalow will cater to residents from Jarmundi, Jama, Taljhari, Hansdiha, Saraiyahat, and Ramgarh areas.

Citizens from Shikaripara and Rameshwar police station jurisdictions can visit Madhya Vidyalaya Rajbandh to register and resolve their issues. This initiative aims to bring governance closer to the people.

The event underscores the police department’s commitment to addressing public concerns. It provides a platform for direct interaction between citizens and officials, promoting transparency and efficiency in problem-solving.
