JAMSHEDPUR – Former Zila Parishad Vice President and senior BJP leader Rajkumar Singh inaugurates the 41st Ganesh Puja Utsav pandal in Sopodera, marking the beginning of festivities.
The event took place at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Society’s pandal.
Zila Parishad Vice President Pankaj Sinha attended as a special guest.
Social worker Rajendra Prasad and Mukhiya Basanti Gupta also graced the occasion.
Committee members welcomed guests with Angavastram and flower bouquets.
Singh and Sinha assured continued support for community development.
Key society members, including Ram Singh Munda, were present.
Bablu Karua conducted the event proceedings.
Committee chairman P.K. Karua delivered the welcome address.
Singh also inaugurated Ganesh Puja pandals in Carriage Colony and Govindpur.
At Carriage Colony, Singh emphasized Lord Ganesh’s symbolic importance.
"Ganesh Chaturthi fosters unity and cultural prosperity," Singh remarked.
The celebrations saw participation from various youth committees.
