New 100-Bed Spand Hospital Set to Open in Jamshedpur

Health Minister Banna Gupta to inaugurate advanced multispeciality facility on Sept 7

Spand Multispeciality Hospital, a new 100-bed facility with cutting-edge medical equipment, is set to open in Jamshedpur.

JAMSHEDPUR – A state-of-the-art 100-bed hospital will be inaugurated on NH-33, Dimna Pardih Road on September 7.

Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta is scheduled to inaugurate the Spand Multispeciality Hospital, marking a significant addition to the city’s healthcare infrastructure.

The facility, located on NH-33, Dimna Pardih Road (Smart Bazaar), boasts advanced medical equipment and comprehensive services.

Dr. Fateh Bahadur Singh, Chairman and Neuro Surgeon of Spand Hospital, highlighted the hospital’s key features.

"Our hospital is equipped with four operating theatres, a 15-bed Intensive Care Unit, and a neuro microscope for complex surgeries," Dr. Singh stated.

The facility aims to enhance patient care and improve treatment outcomes across various specialties.

Dr. Ram Kumar, Managing Director and Head of Internal Medicine, elaborated on the hospital’s capabilities.

"We have a state-of-the-art 13-bed dialysis unit and a 32-slice CT scan machine. Advanced pathology laboratories will be installed soon," Dr. Kumar explained.

The hospital will offer a wide range of medical services, including Neurology, Neuro Surgery, Orthopaedics, Nephrology, Cardiology, Diabetology, Gastroenterology, and Gynaecology.

A hospital spokesperson added, "Our facility is designed to provide round-the-clock medical care and conduct all necessary pathology tests on-site."

The opening of Spand Multispeciality Hospital is expected to significantly boost the healthcare capacity in Jamshedpur and surrounding areas.

Local residents have expressed optimism about the new facility. "Having such an advanced hospital nearby gives us peace of mind," said Rajesh Kumar, a resident of Dimna Pardih.

As the inauguration approaches, the hospital staff is preparing to welcome patients and begin operations, promising to deliver high-quality healthcare services to the community.
