DAV Bistupur Students Represent Jamshedpur at Champions of Change Event

Pupils attend three-day Independence Day program organized by NITI Aayog in New Delhi

Three DAV Public School Bistupur students participated in the government’s Champions of Change program in New Delhi.

JAMSHEDPUR – Three students from DAV Public School, Bistupur represented Jamshedpur at the Champions of Change event organized by NITI Aayog in New Delhi.

Class 11 students Ayush Jha, C Prem Kumar, and Arkashree Nayak attended the three-day Independence Day program.

They were accompanied by their teachers Ms. Mousumi Bhattacharya, Mr. S K Samanta, and Mr. Sanjay Mistry.

The delegation received a special invitation to participate in the event organized by NITI Aayog under the Government of India.

"This experience has been truly unforgettable for us," shared one of the student participants.

On the first day, the group visited the National Science Museum and toured Rashtrapati Bhavan.

They also engaged in an in-depth discussion with Dr. Chintan Vaishnav, Mission Director of NITI Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission.

Engaging with National Leaders

The second day featured a visit to the prestigious Manekshaw Centre of the Armed Forces.

Students interacted with Minister of State Rao Inderjit Singh and NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Suman K. Bery.

Other dignitaries present included Dr. V.K. Saraswat, Prof. Ramesh Chand, and B.V.R. Subrahmanyam, CEO of NITI Aayog.

"Meeting such distinguished leaders was both inspiring and enlightening," remarked one of the teachers accompanying the students.

On the final day, students participated in Independence Day celebrations at the Red Fort.

The group had the honor of personally meeting and shaking hands with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Mrs. Pragya Singh, ARO Jharkhand Zone E and school principal, congratulated the young innovators on their return.

She encouraged them to pursue their dreams with passion and determination, praising their dedication to innovation.

The students described the entire experience as an unforgettable moment in their lives, filled with inspiration and national pride.
