DEO Reviews Arrangements for Various Voter Categories Ahead of Nov 3 Election

JAMSHEDPUR – District Election Officer Ananya Mittal conducted a thorough inspection of the postal ballot polling station at Women’s University, Sidhgora, ahead of the upcoming election.
The postal ballot facility has been established in the university’s girls’ hostel.
Moreover, preparations are in full swing for the election commencing on November 3.
Mittal reviewed arrangements for various voter categories and polling personnel.
Furthermore, she provided instructions for improving the setup.
The voting period will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
Additionally, first phase constituency voting will take place from November 3-11.
Meanwhile, second phase constituencies will vote from November 16-18.
Separate rooms have been allocated for different assembly constituencies.
For instance, Room 101 is designated for Baharagora polling personnel.
"We’ve ensured smooth voting processes for all categories," a polling official stated.
They added, "Each constituency has its dedicated space."
The pantry hall will accommodate police force and home guards voters.
On the other hand, Room 108 is reserved for compulsory service voters.
Notably, home voting services will be available for seniors and differently-abled individuals.
In addition, special polling teams will visit these voters at their residences.
The Election Commission has outlined provisions for voters with special needs.
However, Mittal assured that all necessary measures are being implemented for a fair process.
