Accuses BJP of using leaders from neighboring states to create unrest; transfers ₹57.39 crore to women
CM Hemant Soren accuses BJP of orchestrating a campaign to destabilize his government in Jharkhand through various tactics.
JAMSHEDPUR – CM Hemant Soren accused BJP of plotting to destabilize his government, alleging the use of out-of-state leaders to create unrest.
During an event in Gamharia, Chief Minister Hemant Soren launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), accusing them of attempting to undermine his administration.
Soren claimed that the BJP has been conspiring for months to topple the democratically elected government in Jharkhand.
"For the past five months, the BJP has been importing leaders from Assam and Chhattisgarh to disrupt our state’s harmony," Soren declared.
He alleged that the opposition party is leveraging financial resources and government agencies in their efforts to seize power.
The Chief Minister contrasted the BJP’s actions with his government’s focus on uniting the people of Jharkhand and ensuring their well-being.
At the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Mainiya Samman Yojana event, Soren demonstrated his administration’s commitment to women’s empowerment by transferring over ₹57 crore to beneficiaries’ bank accounts.
The scheme targets women aged 21 to 50 in three districts of the Kolhan division, with 5,73,899 beneficiaries identified so far.
"This initiative is a game-changer for Jharkhand’s women," remarked a local official, emphasizing the government’s dedication to uplifting marginalized communities.
Soren highlighted his administration’s achievements, including expanded pension coverage and increased job opportunities.
He made a bold promise of ₹1 lakh monthly support to every family if re-elected, showcasing his commitment to transformative policies.
"Our focus is on inclusive growth and economic support for all, not divisive politics," Soren asserted, drawing a clear distinction between his governance style and that of the opposition.
Health Minister Banna Gupta and other party leaders also addressed the gathering, reinforcing the government’s message of inclusive development and social welfare.
