Jamshedpur Hosts Massive Cyclothon 4.0 on National Sports Day

Over 350 participants join event organized by local Marwari Yuva Manch branches

Cyclothon 4.0, celebrating National Sports Day, drew 350+ participants in Jamshedpur, part of a nationwide event with 150,000 cyclists.

JAMSHEDPUR – Four local Marwari Yuva Manch branches organized Cyclothon 4.0 on Sunday, attracting over 350 participants to celebrate National Sports Day.

The event kicked off at Sir Dorabji Tata Park in Bistupur, following a scenic route through key city landmarks.

Participants received various commemorative items, including T-shirts, wristbands, and certificates.

The Cyclothon was divided into three categories: children (below 15 years), men, and women.

Yash Kumar claimed first place in the children’s category, with Nikhil Singh and Jaiprakash following in second and third.

Richa Kedia led the women’s category, followed by Vatika Shah and Sanskriti Sharma.

In the men’s division, Sayan Kachhap secured the top spot, with Rajesh Malik and Nirman Mandal rounding out the podium.

Winners were honored with medals and silver coins, while runners-up received medals.

The event was part of a nationwide initiative, with 851 branches across India organizing simultaneous Cyclothons.

Notable attendees included former Indian cricketer Saurav Tiwari and former MLA Kunal Sarangi.

Marwari Yuva Manch’s Jamshedpur, Tatanagar Achievers, Steel City branches, and Agarwal Yuva Manch Jamshedpur jointly organized the event.

The Cyclothon conveyed a message of unity and dedication within Jamshedpur’s social and sports-loving community.
