According to data provided by the administration, Mahato garnered the maximum votes, 1,45,482, from the Jamshedpur East Assembly, a traditional stronghold of the BJP.
Despite Samir Mohanty being the sitting MLA from Baharagora, Mahato managed to secure 1,01,784 votes from this assembly seat, further solidifying his position.
