Divisional Cooperative Maha Sammelan in Jamshedpur Boosts Farmer Support

Agriculture Minister distributes assets worth ₹4.85 crore to beneficiaries

Jamshedpur’s Divisional Level Cooperative Maha Sammelan highlighted government initiatives to empower farmers and cooperative societies.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Divisional Level Cooperative Maha Sammelan was conducted at the Ravindra Bhawan auditorium in Sakchi, with Agriculture Minister Deepika Pandey Singh serving as the principal guest.

94 beneficiaries and committees from three districts received assets valued at over ₹4.85 crore from Minister Singh.

Assets that were distributed included Mobile Vending Carts, Lac Scraper combi Crusher Machines, and Sustainable Harvesting Tool Kits.

The Minister underscored the government’s dedication to providing assistance to producers through a variety of programs and initiatives.

Singh emphasized the ongoing endeavors to construct 100 MT and 500 MT facilities throughout the state to ensure the safe storage of grain.

Farmers were encouraged to submit applications for crop insurance benefits by August 31.

MLA Sanjeev Sardar underscored the importance of promoting agriculture, animal husbandry, and horticulture in conjunction with other enterprises.

MLA Sameer Mohanty addressed government initiatives that are designed to enhance the well-being of all members of society, with a particular emphasis on farmers.

MLA Mangal Kalindi underscored the importance of cooperation as a potent instrument for achieving the aspirations of farmers.

The event was attended by a variety of district officials, the Registrar Cooperative Society, and MLAs.

LAMPS, PACS, Special Cooperative Committees, and Cooperative Extension Officers were recognized for their contributions with citations.

The objective of the gathering was to improve the capabilities of cooperative societies and producers in the area.

Minister Singh provided beneficiaries with assurance that the state would provide them with the necessary assistance in utilizing government programs.

The government’s emphasis on fostering economic prosperity within the agricultural community was emphasized by the event.
