Jamshedpur youths expressed outrage over the heinous crime against a female doctor in Kolkata, calling for the swift execution of the culprits.

JAMSHEDPUR – The heinous crime against a female doctor at Kolkata’s R.G. Kar Hospital has sparked nationwide outrage, with demands for the death penalty for the perpetrators.

In Jamshedpur, the Smyle Foundation organized a candle march from Sankosai in Mango to Mango Golchakkar to protest against the crime.

The participants, holding posters, demanded that the culprits be hanged without delay.

The march culminated in a demonstration where a large number of men and women members of the foundation lit candles and prayed for the peace of the victim’s soul.

Bunty Gupta, the founder of the foundation, stated that similar incidents have occurred in the past, but sending culprits to jail has not stopped such crimes from increasing.

He emphasized the need for legal reforms to ensure that such heinous criminals are swiftly executed rather than being sheltered.

Foundation member Prachi Singh voiced concerns about women’s safety, stating that no woman of any age group feels secure anywhere in the country.

She questioned whether freedom is reserved only for men and stressed the need for laws that would allow women to move freely and safely, even at midnight.

Singh also demanded the immediate execution of those responsible for the crime.

The event was attended by prominent members, including BJP OBC Morcha District President Dharmendra Prasad, Vinod Rai, Prachi Singh, Shivani, Nisha, Pintu Sharma, Lal Babu, Suman Srivastava, Sushil Pandey, Navneet Tiwari, Praveen Vishwakarma, Chintu Sharma, Deepak Patro, Deepak Prasad, and Santosh Kumar.
