NHES Celebrates Independence Day with Focus on ‘Viksit Bharat’
School continues literacy program for staff, distributes educational supplies
Narbheram Hansraj English School commemorated India’s 78th Independence Day, highlighting national progress and educational initiatives.
JAMSHEDPUR – Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) observed the 78th Independence Day with a flag hoisting ceremony and a showcase of India’s achievements under the theme ‘Viksit Bharat’.
Nakul Kamani, President of the School Managing Committee, led the flag hoisting ceremony.
Students participated in a ‘Viksit’ walk, demonstrating India’s advancements in various fields.
The event highlighted the school’s ongoing Literacy Programme for Women Support Staff.
Launched in 2022 as part of Amrit Mahotsav, the literacy program was handed over to the new Student Council.
The Interact Club distributed educational supplies to women support staff under the ‘Each one, Teach one’ initiative.
Notebooks, pens, pencils, and erasers were given out as part of the educational support effort.
Kamani delivered an inspirational address to the students during the celebration.
The Student Council pledged to continue and uphold the literacy program for staff.
The ceremony showcased India’s achievements in science, technology, sports, and medicine.
Students were encouraged to embrace their roles as responsible citizens and future leaders.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a call for civic responsibility.
