Independence Day Celebrated with Patriotic Fervour at DAV Public School, Bistupur

Students showcase the spirit of unity and pride during the 78th Independence Day celebration.

DAV Public School, Bistupur, celebrated the 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm, highlighting the themes of freedom, diversity, and unity.

JAMSHEDPUR – The 78th Independence Day celebration at DAV Public School, Bistupur, was a grand success, filled with patriotic fervour and a sense of national pride.

The celebration began with the hoisting of the National Flag by ARO cum Principal Mrs. Pragya Singh, followed by the National Anthem.

The students’ synchronized march past added grandeur and solemnity to the occasion.

Notable Performances

Dippanita Kanungo of Class XII B delivered an inspiring speech, earning a huge round of applause.

A grand cultural programme showcased the rich Indian culture through magnificent dance performances by students of classes VI to IX.

The choir group captivated the audience with melodious patriotic songs, while Adrija Anand of XI A6 moved hearts with a powerful Hindi recitation honoring freedom fighters.

A skit depicting the court session of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru brought history to life, leaving the audience in awe.

Principal’s Address and Announcements

In her address, Mrs. Pragya Singh emphasized the importance of empathy, positive thinking, and the role of teachers in shaping responsible individuals.

She also announced the selection of "The Green Walkathon," an Atal Innovation Project by three students from DAV PS Bistupur, among the top 100 science projects in India.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Sr. PGT Mr. Dipak Kumar Sinha, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of pride in their country.
