New enforcement targets no-parking violations to reduce traffic congestion
Jamshedpur authorities announce fines for auto drivers illegally stopping in no-parking zones to combat traffic issues.
JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur officials have implemented a new measure. They will fine auto drivers who pick up or drop off passengers in no-parking areas.
The enforcement action aims to alleviate traffic congestion at major intersections caused by illegal stopping.
On Wednesday evening, authorities used loudspeakers to warn auto drivers about adhering to traffic regulations.
SDO Parul Singh and Jamshedpur NAC Deputy Municipal Commissioner Krishna Kumar directed the announcement campaign.
Public awareness efforts were conducted at various auto stands in Sakchi.
Drivers were urged to use designated auto stands for passenger pick-up and drop-off.
The initiative is part of a broader campaign to improve traffic management and ensure compliance with parking rules.
Jamshedpur NAC, Sakchi Traffic Police, and Sakchi Police Station are supporting this enforcement measure.
Auto drivers who violate the new rules will face legal consequences.
The move is expected to significantly reduce traffic obstructions in restricted zones.
