A recorded announcement is being made, instructing the removal of meat shops around the temple.
Adherence to Guidelines
The big question remains whether the municipal administration can enforce guidelines on the distance between religious sites and meat shops.
It will be interesting to observe if the guidelines are strictly followed.
Also, the locals want to ensure that such meat shops do not come up again in the vicinity of the temple in future.
They also want to know how the meat shops cropped up just beside the temple in the first place and the municipal authorities kept sleeping.
The municipal corporation’s action has caused panic among meat and poultry shop owners.
Many shop owners are concerned about the impact on their businesses.
Strict Enforcement Planned
Authorities have pledged to rigorously enforce the campaign.
Encroachments around the temple will be removed to maintain the sanctity of the area.

The campaign is expected to continue until the area is fully cleared.
