JAMSHEDPUR – BJP leader Rajeev Ranjan Singh urges traffic police to address ongoing congestion on Mango Bridge.
On Tuesday, BJP leader Rajeev Ranjan Singh visited Mango, Azadnagar, and Ulidih to understand the residents’ issues.
He highlighted the daily traffic jams on Mango Bridge, causing difficulties for children, the elderly, and commuters.
Singh discussed the issue with traffic police officers and DSP to find a solution.
He personally walked from Mango Bus Stand to the bridge to assess the traffic situation.
Singh emphasized the need to enforce the one-way rule on the old bridge, where vehicles are moving in both directions.
He pointed out the heavy bike traffic from Jamshedpur Workers College towards the footpath, which needs immediate closure.
A meeting was approved to improve traffic management based on public demand, and a report will be submitted to the SSP and DC.
The initiative included retired DSP Madan Mohan Singh, social workers Rajkumar Singh, Azad Singh, Abhay Kishore, and others.
Community members like Vishwajeet Singh, Yashveer Singh, Vinay Singh, Arjun Yadav, Dinesh Gupta, and Bharti also participated in addressing the issue.
Residents hope that these efforts will alleviate the traffic problems on Mango Bridge.
