PhD Exams Underway at Jamshedpur Women’s University

Final session tests for various disciplines held in August after 7-month coursework

Jamshedpur Women’s University conducts PhD final exams for multiple disciplines, with results and registrations expected soon.

JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur Women’s University is hosting PhD final session examinations for various subjects in the first week of August.

The university has successfully organized these crucial examinations following a comprehensive coursework period.

The coursework for the PhD programs spanned from December 2023 to June 2024, providing candidates with a solid foundation for their research endeavors.

A diverse group of candidates is participating in the examinations across multiple disciplines.

The Commerce department has the highest representation with 8 candidates taking the exam.

Other departments with multiple candidates include Economics with 4, English and Home Science with 2 each, and Botany also with 2 participants.

Single candidates from Hindi and Odia departments are also part of this examination session.

Additionally, the university is conducting exams for candidates from Political Science and Music departments.

The examination department has reported that the current tests are proceeding smoothly and without any disruptions.

Prior to these final session exams, the university had also conducted secondary examinations for the PhD candidates.

University officials have expressed their intention to announce the results promptly following the completion of the exams.

The institution is keen on expediting the registration process for successful candidates.

This swift processing is aimed at helping the PhD scholars commence their research work without unnecessary delays.

The university’s efforts reflect its commitment to fostering academic growth and supporting research initiatives across various fields of study.
