Jugsalai MLA Mangal Kalindi met Chief Minister Hemant Soren, requesting the construction of Railway Over Bridges (ROB) in Jamshedpur to enhance safety and ease congestion.
JAMSHEDPUR – Jugsalai MLA Mangal Kalindi met Chief Minister Hemant Soren, highlighting the need for Railway Over Bridges (ROB) in Jamshedpur’s Jugsalai constituency to improve safety and reduce congestion.
Kalindi’s memorandum pointed out that about 100,000 people reside in the 22 panchayats within the Jamshedpur block, frequently needing to cross the busy Tatanagar Railway Station area.
Daily commuters, including students, workers, and shoppers, face constant risks and traffic jams at the railway crossings.
Kalindi proposed constructing ROBs at critical points to mitigate accidents and improve traffic flow.
The specific locations suggested for ROB construction include:
– From Barigoda crossing to Jojobeda railway crossing, extending to Telco Company’s southern gate.
– From Bora Plant through Railway Colony to Khasmahal Loco mode.
– From Makdampur crossing to Salgajhadi Kali Temple.
Kalindi emphasized that these ROBs would greatly benefit residents by providing safer and more convenient travel options.
Chief Minister Soren assured immediate action on this matter, acknowledging the urgent need for these infrastructural improvements.
