Inner Wheel Club educates students on prevention and early detection
Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur East organized a cervical cancer awareness program for students at Project Girls High School.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur East conducted a cervical cancer vaccination awareness event at Project Girls High School, where they provided young women with information on prevention methods.
Dr. Anjushree Pandit delivered a keynote address on the topic of early diagnosis and screening methods.
Her presentation underscored the significance of vaccination and lifestyle modifications in the prevention of cervical cancer.
The discussion was significantly enhanced by the valuable insights provided by PDC Dr. Rita Jha.
The club provided Horlicks pouches and biscuits to 130 pupils who were in attendance.
The event was actively participated in by seven club members, including District President Alokanand Bakshi.
District Secretary Priyaka Kumar also attended, demonstrating her endorsement of the initiative.
The program was organized by the Club President, Madhumita Sanyal, and the Secretary, Sanchita Dey.
