Govt Answer to MLA Saryu Roy’s Query in Jharkhand Assembly Under Focus
MLA Saryu Roy highlights inaccuracies in the government’s response regarding Golmuri police station and Incab company’s status.
Saryu Roy says the government incorrectly stated no theft incidents were reported in Golmuri police station; MLA Roy said he had filed a report two years ago.
JAMSHEDPUR – MLA Saryu Roy of Jamshedpur East has pointed out discrepancies in the government’s response to his query in the Jharkhand Assembly.
The government incorrectly stated in response to Question Clause-1 that "no incident/first information report of theft has been registered by the local Golmuri police station," which is entirely false.
MLA Roy had filed a report about this issue two years ago, but no action has been taken since then.
Every child in the Cable Company area knows that no machinery remains there, as all machines have been stolen.
The fact provided in Question Clause-4 is also completely incorrect.
In reality, the NCLAT, in its order dated June 4, 2021, had set aside the NCLT’s liquidation order of February 7, 2020, which the Supreme Court also upheld in February 2022.
The NCLAT stated in its June 4, 2021 order that the Resolution Professional had not examined the debts of Incab, and therefore, a committee of creditors was never formed for this company.
Incab Company was closed from 1993 to 1996, which means all bank accounts became NPAs in 1992, and by 1996, all debts had expired due to limitation laws.
How could a committee of creditors be formed? Why is the NCLT hearing these fake creditors?
The government should present these facts in the Assembly, but it has provided incorrect answer, Mr. Saryu Roy pointed out.
He said that in Question Clause-4, the government quoted incorrect facts.
MLA Saryu Roy mentioned that he had given a self-contained representation to the state government about this issue since 2021.
At that time, the government assured that industries would be re-established on the company’s land to generate employment.
